Welcome

The name One Foot on Both was first used to describe what was supposed to be a temporary cross-cultural move: having one foot in my home country and the other in my new country. But, long story short, the cross-cultural move stretched into eight years, and One Foot on Both has expanded to embody so much more than the straddling of two geographical locations.

Here, I write about faith, immigration, motherhood, and all the mess and beauty of life happening in the in-between.

You can find more of my writing on Mothering Spirit, Coffee + Crumbs, and other places online.
